City of Ogdensburg
The historic waterfront community of Ogdensburg, New York is home to over seven miles of St. Lawrence River frontage. The river is a primary feature of the City and New Yorkโs Thousand Island-Seaway Vacation Region, which characterizes the area. Two hours north of Syracuse, Ogdensburg is a short drive to this and other population centers in New York State. In addition, with access to the Ogdensburg-Prescott International Bridge, the city is proximate to several major Canadian cities, including Ottawa, Montreal and Toronto.

The bridge has a heavy-load capability to 105,000 lbs and annual crossings of more than 722,500 vehicles (2011). Commercial and private air transportation is serviced out of Ogdensburg International Airport and the Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) qualified Port of Ogdensburg is closer to Northern Europe than most other U.S. ports.
- The City of Ogdensburg is investing in its future through major infrastructure and planning projects. In 2018, the city completed sanitary sewer and stormwater improvements and today a $49.0M upgrade to the city-owned and operated waste water treatment plant is underway.ย
