Blair, NE

Blair, Nebraska had an opportunity to bring new life to the approximately 150 acres of vacant land and buildings associated with the closure of Dana College. With technical assistance from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Office of Brownfields and Land Revitalization (OBLR), Vita Nuova helped identify opportunities to explore residential reuse for the campus as a priority to serve the community and the growing economy in the region. Stakeholder interviews, public funding research, and reuse options helped the owners of the campus to understand the value of the property to the community, future users, and themselves.
