Ryan Gahagan supports Vita Nuova’s energy transition efforts.
For 10 years, Mr. Gahagan has led siting efforts for various renewable energy development projects, such as solar, storage, on- and offshore wind, biofuels, and transmission line projects of various sizes. He is experienced with developing distributed generation, behind the meter, and grid-scale projects, including site identification and assessment, proximity to 3-phase, circuit and substation capacity, environmental conditions, site visits, negotiating real estate options, lease and purchase agreements with landowners, net energy billing offtake contracts, power purchase agreements, procurement proposals, permitting, and ECP. Mr. Gahagan helped create clean energy policy and procurement opportunities and co-authored a revision to the Environmental Protection Agency and National Renewable Energy Laboratory’s “Best Practices for Siting Solar Photovoltaics on Municipal Solid Waste Landfills.”
